Reasons you’ll love this raspberry smoothie with peaches!
- Refreshing and delicious. Juicy peaches, sweet raspberries, and lemon blended with a banana create a super tasty smoothie!
- Healthy. This smoothie is packed with nutrition from the fruit and chia seeds. If you add leafy greens, then that’s even more nutritious. This raspberry peach smoothie is also gluten-free and dairy-free.
- Enjoy all day! You can enjoy this raspberry peach smoothie for a healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a healthy snack.
- Make ahead. You can assemble the ingredients into a smoothie kit or take it in a mason jar or smoothie cup for a great breakfast on the go.
Ingredients
I recommend using frozen fruit or freezing fresh fruit ahead of time to create a cold, creamy smoothie. If you use all fresh fruit, you’ll need to add about one cup of ice cubes.
- Peaches. Juicy fresh ripe peaches are delicious in a smoothie; you can cut them into chunks and leave the skins on. Of course, you need to remove the pit. I recommend freezing fresh peaches in smoothies to get a cold, creamy consistency. If it’s not that time of year when peaches are in season, then use frozen peaches.
- Raspberries. You can use fresh or frozen raspberries. I prefer frozen organic raspberries because it’s cheaper, and I don’t need to worry about the fruit spoiling before using them.
- Banana. A ripe banana gives the smoothie another layer of sweetness and creamy consistency, and I recommend freezing bananas ready to throw into smoothies.
- Lemon. Peaches and raspberries are refreshing fruits but adding fresh lemon juice give this smoothie a fresh flavor that’s so good.
- Chia seeds. I also add chia seeds for a smoothie that’s high in protein, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids. You can find chia seeds in the natural food section or the baking section of the grocery store. You can also find large bags at affordable prices at BJ’s wholesale. So, if you have access to wholesale stores, check there first. If you don’t have easy access to chia seeds, you can purchase them online from Amazon or Thrive Market.
- Baby spinach. Leafy greens add extra vitamins and nutrients to a smoothie; besides changing its color, they are barely detectable. I prefer baby spinach because the flavor is mild, but you can use kale or any leafy green in a smoothie.
- Unsweetened coconut milk. I prefer to make a vegan smoothie, so I use unsweetened coconut or unsweetened almond milk when blending the ingredients. You can use any non-dairy milk or, if you prefer, use fresh orange juice.

How to Make a Raspberry Peach Smoothie
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend everything until it’s smooth.
- Add more coconut milk or water if you want a thinner smoothie consistency.
Smoothie tip. If you’re using spinach and don’t have a high-speed blender, I recommend blending the spinach and liquid first, and this helps prevent chunks of greens in your smoothie.
Supplies
- High-speed blender – I’ve owned this Vitamix for close to 10 years, and it’s still going strong. If you plan to make smoothies regularly, I recommend investing in a high-quality blender. If a Vitamix is too pricey, then check out my recommendation for the best blenders for smoothies.
- Glass tumbler – I often use a 32-ounce mason jar for drinking smoothies. I also have this 18-ounce Ello glass tumbler.
- Reusable straws – These Ello reusable straws work fantastic for smoothies.
- Straw cleaner – Definitely grab a straw cleaner to keep those straws clean.
- 20-ounce Yeti tumbler – I love using my Yeti tumbler to keep smoothies cold on the go.
- Reusable silicone bags – These bags come in handy when putting together freezer smoothie kits.
Substitutions
- Any berries will work in the peach raspberry smoothie. I like using a triple berry blend.
- If you want more peach flavor the use more peaches and less raspberries. For more raspberry flavor do the opposite.
- For more protein add in plain greek yogurt or a scoop of protein powder or collagen.
- Use your favorite superfood. Hemp hearts, hemp seeds, matcha powder, flax seeds, coconut oil, and MCT oil are all great options.
- You can add a splash of pure vanilla extract for more flavor. A 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract will do the trick.
- Bananas create a sweet smoothie but if you need it sweeter try blending in one teaspoon of pure maple syrup or honey. Taste it first before adding in extra sweetener.

Storage tips
To store: You can store leftover raspberry peach smoothies in an airtight container for one day, and I recommend a mason jar for best results. The smoothie consistency and color will change, but it will still be tasty; give it a few shakes before consuming.
To freeze: Have raspberry peach smoothie ingredients ready for the week or month by assembling them (minus the coconut milk) into smoothie packs and storing them in the freezer. Yes, you can squeeze the lemon juice with the other ingredients. The day you drink the smoothie, toss the ingredients in the blender with milk and blend.

While this one wasn’t my favorite, still a good recipe.
Sandra says
Hi,
I LOVE your blueberry smoothie…it is SO fantastic / helpful to have them ready made in the freezer ahead of time. I want to know if this peach raspberry one can be frozen as well – in particular, can I squeeze the lemon juice and then freeze all ingredients except the milk and water? Also, I have never used hemp hearts before…can they be frozen?
Thanks.
Tammy Overhoff says
Hi Sandra! Yes you can freeze the lemon and hemp heart right into the smoothie kit. So glad you love the blueberry smoothie, it’s my fav!
Sandra says
Thank-you!
Amy says
What are Chia seeds? My diet can’t have any kind of seeds for medical reasons.
Andrea says
I love this smoothie, but when I plug it into My Fitness Pal, it tells me the calories are about double what your calculation is. Any idea where I went wrong? I’m treating the whole recipe as one serving, unless that’s not right?
Ava says
Hi it says above that it’s a serving for 2
Monica says
It says it makes 2 servings.
Jennifer Marshall says
Love the light flavor and clean taste…I would recommend less water for sure.
Laura says
Monica, I use honey instead of maple syrup.
Glenda says
I’m planning to use local honey or agave.
Monica says
Hi! Love you recipes! But I notice you use maple syrup to sweeten a lot. I had an unfortunate encounter with maple syrup as a child and hate the taste now. What would you recommend as a substitute? Stevia maybe? Thanks!! Keep up the good work and great recipes!!
