Ingredients

Bread & Milk Ground Beef Onions & garlic Taco seasoning Tomato sauce Apple cider vinegar & brown sugar Black beans

Place the bread and milk into a large bowl. Then, using a fork, mash together until paste forms.

Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper into the paste, then use your hands to mix. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, add the onions, garlic, and taco seasoning with olive oil.

Stir until the seasonings coat the onions and garlic.

Microwave for 4 – 5 minutes. This step blooms the spices, which adds more flavor to the aromatics.

Stir together tomato sauce with vinegar and sugar then add to the slow cooker with the beef, onion mixture, and tomato sauce.

Mix together and break the beef up into smaller pieces.

Cover and cook. Set the crockpot to cook on low for 6 – 8 hours or high for 3 hours.

If you're using black beans add them now.

Stir until combined.
