Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Ingredients

Ground turkey Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper Onions and garlic Chili powder, cumin, oregano, and red pepper flakes Tomato paste Chipotle chilis Tomato sauce and Chili-seasoned diced tomatoes Red kidney beans

Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add the onions and cook for 4-5 minutes or until translucent.

Step 2: Add the garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Step 3: Add in the spices.

Step 4: Stir and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.

Step 5: Add the tomato paste into the pan.

Step 6: Stir in the tomato paste and chipotle peppers until it’s blended with the other ingredients.

Step 7: Place the ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in with the onion mixture.

Step 8: Cook until no longer pink, breaking up the turkey into small pieces as it cooks.

Step 9: Add the ground turkey mixture into the slow cooker. Then add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beans

Step 10: Stir all of the ingredients together.

Step 11: Cover and cook on low 6 – 8 hours or cook on high 4 -5 hours.

Serve hot in bowls and top with your favorite toppings.
